Another WOW week.

Is this heaven? Got last minutes seats to see the White Sox @ 7:11pm on the 9th. They got blown out by the Twins, in weather that was more appropriate for a Bears game. We stayed for most of the game, but left just after the wheels fell off.

Was not quite on the ball in signing my daughter up for tee ball/combo league, but got in just at the deadline and got her on a team that practices on a day that is actually good for our schedules.

Then Friday afternoon, I get a call, my sister has gotten a few White Sox tickets, this time Scout Seats, for Saturday! WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! What I thought was a once in a lifetime experience, woohooo we get a 2ND one! We saw the new White Sox Plaza and the Champions monument. We got the same server in the lounge as we did in the seats, Mary Jo, and she was great. Since it was an early game, brunch was on the menu. Eggs, omelets, sausage, bacon, fried potatoes, waffles, french toast, chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, french fries, roast ham, turkey, fried chicken, pasta w/sausage, salad, dessert. We got all the food/drinks you wanted out in the seats.

And what a game. Yes the weather was crappy. O Cabrera hits a homer - FIREWORKS! Gavin Floyd had a no hitter going until the 8th inning. Almost got 2 foul balls. Then the Sox bats woke up, along with Verlander getting tired, SOX WIN SOX WIN!!!!!!! On the way out, a Detroit player comes out of the locker and gives a security guy a ball and says to give it to a little kid. The security guy picks my daughter, she is ecstatic. What a way to end the day. GO WHITE SOX!
