Forgot About This
Going through my bookmarks today. Clearing out bad links. Forgot about my blog, LOL. Not that people read it. Just winding down for the evening.
It's nice having Rebecca home for her research again this year. In all reality, once she goes back to school this fall, it might be the last time she spends a large amount of time at the house.
It's amazing to me that the little child we brought home 21+ years ago is now getting closer to going off on her own on this journey of life. We will always be here for her, but she will soon be ready to take that next step into her life. At times sad that she's not that little girl learning to ride a bike, playing with her barbies or legos, playing softball or on her little violin. Yet astounded at how she has worked to get to where she is in her schooling. Her musicianship, of going from violin to cello, then picking up a little acoustic and electric guitar, and keyboard along the way. Her going from the usual grade school art assignments to becoming a very good artist.
So many have helped along the way. Some who are no longer here to watch her, but I know they are looking down and smiling at her and what she has done and continues to do. As do Julie and I.

Allright! Baseball is back, White Sox Win!
My favorite season is here, spring, summer, and fall all rolled into one - BASEBALL SEASON! What a way to start the year.
A White Sox winner! A few home runs - Paulie and Rios - and what could be the play of the year - Buehrle's between the legs flip to Konerko's bare hand put out. AMAZING!
Mark, as much as it pains me to hear you mention the Cardinals every so often, I understand baseball is a business and I can also understand what a thrill it would be to play for the team you grew up rooting for. That being said, I will enjoy your performances for as long as we have you in the Silver, Black, and White. Let's see, a World Series Win, a World Series Save, a White Sox World Series Championship, a no hitter, a home run by a pitcher, a perfect game, and now this acrobatic move worthy of highlight reels, what's next?
